Lameck Kumbuka Jaston

Mr. Jaston has over fifteen years of professional experience in International Trade and Economic Diplomacy with a particular focus on Digital trade, E-commerce, and Digital economy. He has held various posts in International Organisations and the UN system including the Regional Adviser for Africa at the International Organization of Employers (IOE) where he coordinated projects for the IOE members from 43 countries in Africa. Prior to his appointment as regional advisor for Africa, Mr. Jaston worked as an International Trade Expert for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). He recently worked for the EU funded project as a key Digital Trade Expert, where he assisted the DG for International Partnerships (INTPA) in designing a coherent framework of intervention in support of Digital Trade in Africa and proposed the formulation of specific programs in support of digital trade. Mr Jaston holds a Master of Law from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Law focusing on Competition Law in Digital Economy.

Mr Jaston is fluent in Kiswahili, English, and French, Conversant in German, Spanish, Kirundi, and Kinyarwanda

Prof. Zelalem Teferra (Ph.D.)

Prof. Teffera is a Senior Legal Officer at the African Court and Adjunct Asst. Professor of International Law at Addis Ababa University. He has over sixteen years of extensive professional experience in consultancy, capacity-building in the areas of privacy and data, online engagement and human rights, rule of law and justice, international law, and alternative dispute resolution. He has worked for different organizations including Jimma University, Oxford University Consulting, the International Institute for Justice and Rule of Law, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the African Progress Panel. Native of Ethiopia, he holds a Ph.D. from the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies

Amy Mukwa

Adviser in Project Management and Coordination

Ms. Mukwa has Over 10 years of experience in the management and coordination of projects. she is currently managing and coordinating project implementation in Togo and Benin, for Pont Universel- a Swiss organisation that actively participates in actions to help sustainable development in Africa with a particular focus on people with psycho-social difficulties.
Ms Mukwa is native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Social Sciences, and a Master’s in Management from the University of Fribourg -Switzerland

Dr. Baraka F. Kanyabuhinya (Ph.D.)

ICT Policy Adviser.

Dr. Baraka Kanyabuhinya is a lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law and Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania. He specializes in Technology, Data Protection, EAC Law, International Trade, Competition Law, Intellectual Property, Consumer Protection, Commercial transactions, and WTO Law and labor relations.
He has worked as a Legal Expert on the Data Protection Bill- a meeting organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on the Harmonization of the ICT Policies in Sub-Sahara Africa. Tanzania national, He holds a Ph.D. in Economic Law from the University of Dar es Salaam

Dr. Kadeghe Goodluck Fue
Digital Agriculture Lead Adviser.

Dr. Kadeghe Fue is a highly versatile professional actively involved in research, entrepreneurship, development, and consulting within the field of Digital and Data-Driven Agriculture and Natural Resource Management. He has over 12 years in the areas of Agricultural Robotics, Agricultural Data Science, and Earth Data Science. He has actively contributed to the development of sophisticated technological systems for the agricultural and natural resource sectors. Dr. Fue excels as a full-stack developer, proficiently integrating hardware-software systems and devising innovative algorithms to address challenges in autonomy and AI.

He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Robotics from the University of Georgia in the United States
